Saimaa Horizon 2030 – Invest & Grow is a regional tourism development project focused on strengthening the international visibility, accessibility and competitiveness of the Lake Saimaa region.
The project supports tourism businesses in South Savo and the Varkaus area by developing international sales and marketing, improving business capabilities and encouraging sustainable growth and investment.
The project responds to changes in global travel demand and aims to attract new international visitors and markets to the region. Particular focus is placed on product development, marketing cooperation, accessibility, tourism investments and strengthening the international recognition of the Saimaa area.
Saimaa Horizon 2030 – Invest & Grow works in close cooperation with Visit Finland and other regional tourism initiatives to support long-term, sustainable tourism growth in Eastern Finland.
